PCI compliance levels explained
There are 4 levels of PCI compliance depending on how you handle the credit card process online and the number of transactions are completed each year.
PCI-DSS compliance: Level 1
Merchants that process over 6,000,000 Visa or MasterCard e-commerce transactions annually. This also includes any merchant that has experienced a previous data breach where sensitive information has been compromised on the server.
PCI-DSS compliance: Level 2
Merchants that process between 1,000,000 and 6,000,000 Visa or MasterCard e-commerce transactions per year.
PCI-DSS compliance: Level 3
Merchants that process between 20,000 and 1,000,000 Visa or MasterCard e-commerce transactions per year.
PCI-DSS compliance: Level 4
Merchants that process less than 20,000 Visa or MasterCard e-commerce transactions annually, plus all other merchants that process up to 1 million Visa or MasterCard transactions per year.

It’s dead easy. If you decide to upgrade your plan later on, you do can it directly through our client area. If you’re looking for a more powerful, specialised option and need help choosing, simply contact our support team, who can organise the upgrade and assist with migration to your new server.
We maintain automated backups of your data. Your data (files, databases & emails) are backed up every day (30 x snapshots stored offsite). You are able to manage/view/restore them via your StackCP control panel.
Our unlimited plan is designed for small business or personal use. It’s appropriate for the majority of users and we see very few people abusing it. These plans are not suitable for storage of private files or file sharing or for users attempting to resell or host large numbers of websites. Heavy resources users, in terms of disk space, bandwidth, CPU and memory will be contacted to help them upgrade to a more suitable plan or one of our cloud VPS servers. We will never cut you off without warning - but abusers will be suspended to protect our other responsible users.
